Aligned with the global theme #MarchForward, the 20th International Women’s Day Illawarra Lunch was held on March 8th, at the WIN Entertainment Centre. The sold-out event brought together over 950 attendees to celebrate women’s achievements and raise funds for local women and women’s support organisations.

Our team at Waples and Bluejuice, developed a campaign including event concept, digital and printed collateral, PR, event theming, and media across TV, radio, press, and online channels. Assets included the Illawarra Mercury Special Edition Wrap, event signage, social media, and a full event program to name a few.

The lunch featured keynote speaker Rosie Batty AO, who shared her powerful story of resilience and advocacy, and celebrity chef Anna Polyviou, who joined i98FM’s co-host Bella Leone on stage. Annual scholarships and Major Project Grants were awarded, reinforcing the event’s successful commitment to drive meaningful change.
